Meet the New Boss... Same as the Old Boss: SEIU Regime Change More of a Lateral Move

In the wake of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) boss Andy Stern's retirement, SEIU Executive Vice President Mary Kay Henry was ushered in as the new chief of the notoriously corrupt and predatory union hierarchy.

Despite the mainstream media's portrayal of Henry's coronation as a change in the way SEIU union organizers coerce workers into dues-paying union ranks through intimidation or political deal-making, nothing could be further from the truth.

From National Right to Work's contribution to BigGovernment.com:

Fearing lack of support, communications union bosses are attempting to rig election employees initiated to throw out unwanted union

Seattle, WA (February 24, 2010) – With free legal aid from the National Right to Work Foundation, a Redmond-based AT&T Mobility employee filed federal charges after union organizers illegally colluded with company officials to sweep AT&T workers across the state into union ranks in exchange for contract concessions.

Houston Nurses File Decert Petition to Eject Unwanted Union

Regular Freedom@Work readers may remember the Foundation's ongoing efforts to help Houston nurses fight back against a coercive organizing scheme hatched by Tenet Healthcare Corporation and the California Nurses Association union bosses. We're pleased to report that the Foundation's charges have forced union officials to stop their illegal and coercive organizing efforts at two area hospitals. Not only that, but independent nurses have filed a union decertification petition at a third location. From the Foundation's press release:
