Recently I worked for my state .I was a temp on my way to going permanent during this time I was forced to pay union dues.The state made me take a test on equipment where they did not supply proper training according to there standards. I got one question wrong halfway thru test they suspened me,the union said we will get your job back.Two weeks later I was fired and union said even though I was right they would not represent me because I did not have 180 days seniority.Seems to me that I got to pay union dues for nothing.I would like to add that my manager tried to get be back, but because of bad state regulations I was let go. AFSCME SUCKS
