liberalism - your liberalism!

I agree with you that NO ONE should be forced to join an organization whose charter they do not agree with! However, speaking as a conservative (believe it or not!)you as a liberal would have t define your liberalism to me before I believe you are a liberal! A libertarian...ok, but a liberal???? A liberal in my estimation is all abut big government, big unions, big control etc. I was a union member at one time before I was able to get out of it by becoming a "company man", so to speak. That meant working long hours with little pay and recognition, yet loving the freedom and opportunity I had. I frankly do not think you are a liberal! I think you are an opportunist, like we ALL want to be with the right to pursue our future as WE see fit.
By the way, thank you for being an American, regardless of what you call yourself.
