It blows my mind how people think that a union is now still good.

Historically yes, we owe much to unions and what they brought initially.

But for years, unions have been more about greed and 'whats in it for me' attitude than in fairness to the worker.

More & more its more about 'support us' or we get violent.

As a former union member who would rather fight than join.
You would have to put a gun to my head to make me join a union.

Fortunately there are legit ways to bypass unions to get a job at a union shop... though at times its often mgmt related or lower pay... despite the fact that most of the jobs Ive ever had were twice the union pay (exclusion of mfg jobs)..

In IT, rarely is a union job as good as non-union.

As it is, while neither is truley a right.
My right to get a job is more relevant and more in tune with reality than any union rights.
