Check your history book pal.

Check your history book pal. The unions don't do anything except line the pockets of the a-holes that run these organizations. Washington is a right to work state, so if you don't want to join up don't be bullied into it. I'm sure we can all think of more productive ways to use the money we have taken out of our checks each month for dues. Without a union you would still have 8 hour work days, breaks, etc. thanks to legislation that was passed years ago. You would also have better health insurance plans (because contrary to what the union would like you to know your employer does try and provide a comprehensive and competitive health insurance plan as part of your compensation). If you don't believe me, check your plan against the ones other non-union employees have and I'm sure you'll see it's better. If the best the union could do for you was provide United Health insurance (who most providers in the area don't take because of their terrible reimbursement structure) then what's the point??? I think it's time the employees had their say ... let's dump this union once and for all!
