Re: all lies

Congratulations on being a proud UNION WORKER!

I'm in a union too, but I'm not proud of it at all. I have a brain that works you see, so I don't need to be told what to do by you or lying union officers.

It's very simple really. It's about choice. If unions are so wonderful, why not allow workers to decide for themselves if they want to join and pay dues?

That is how it is in Right to Work states. Then, the unions would actually have to do something constructive in order to get people to join. They might actually have to do some work instead of taking money from people who want nothing to do with them.

With AT&T you are seeing just how weak the CWA is. All we heard for 5 weeks was how we are going to strike against big bad AT&T. When push came to shove the union backed down and didn't even get a signed 30 day extension of the old contract. The workers are now working without a contract!

If the union was half as good at bullying AT&T as they are their own members, they'd have a sweet contract by now!
