all lies
I am a UNION WORKER. And damn proud of it.
If it wasn't for the unions you would NOT have 8 hour work days or any benefits. Matter of known fact. The right to work really means right to work for less. And without health benefits. If it wasn't for the UNION's you would NOT have health and welfare benefits or even a 5 day work week.
Field as one of the individuals in the early 20th century who faught the unions. He wanted all of the lake front of chicago to be a industrial area (bad idea for the great lakes and the U.S. laregest fresh water supply). He wanted 7 day work weeks and minimum 10 hour days and zero health benefits.
So quit bashing the unions.
It is also a known fact that a non-union company has a higher profit margin than a union company. They may charge a little less for their work but you pay the price in training and excellence.
A non-union company makes more money than a union company does in clear profit. Why? They do not provide prevailing wage. They do not provide health benefits. They do not provide continuing education.
Walmart is the bigggest non union evil entity there in on the planet. They want there stores built by union trades but in turn refuse to allow unions to be in their stores. They mistreat there own 'associates' they are a evil entity.
