Forced Unionism
This is one of these "changes" our muslim marxist president promised but we paid no attention to him his speeches were so eloquent.

I shake my head at how gulable some people are reguarding the NMB rule changes. The new rule changes are no different that voting for city council or the President. The votes of the people who vote are counted. Its as simple as that folks. I keep hearing about a minority could decide an election. And? Whats new? Thats almost every political election. Most elections are less than a 50% turnout of the voting public. But it doesnt have to mean that a minority makes the decision on the election. Everyone has the right to vote. If less than 50% of voters decide they dont want to vote, then the decision is made by a minority.
You guys need to cut out this "marxist", "socialist" junk. Thats a bunch of talk radio bunk. The NMB rules changes are democratic. The new rule changes by no means makes it easier for the unions to organize. The unions just want fair elections. No matter who wins, just count the votes of those who decide to vote!!!!!!

To comment on this.... Unionization of a workplace is not to be a "political" issue but an individual private work issue.
The concern with this change in voting is simple...
The Railway Labor Act - the Federal Law that governs these things - does not allow the NMB to change the wording or the intent of that Law.
The RLA states that the majority of the "workforce" must vote for union representation in order for that union to come in.
It does NOT say that the majority of those voting.
The intent is to get those FOR the union to vote YES.... NOT for ALL workers to vote.
READ the RLA. It is very clear. Also, the RLA forbids anyone from serving on the NMB if they have an interest in seeing unions come into a company.
IF a workforce wants a union then the majority of those people WILL vote FOR a union.
This is not a politcal issue as you made a parallel with voting for local and fed. govt. issues.
Again, read the RLA - That piece of legislation is the governing article for this issue.
Why pay Union Thugs with your wages

I have never understood why any worker would ever want to join a union just to pay the Union Thugs who run the union huge wages and benefits. I have never been a union member nor would I ever join a union and if a union member tried to intimidate me, my friend and I would invite them for a ride and they would either agree to leave me alone or I would leave them alone far out in the woods or desert.

OBAMA IS MORE THAN WILLING TO DO THEIR BIDDING. BECAUSE HE WILL NEED THEIR HELP WHEN ELECTION TIME COMES AROUND.
IF THE CONGRESS PASSES CARD CHECK THE UNIONS WILL HAVE THE UPPER HAND AND THE EMPLOYES THAT DON'T WANT TO JOIN THE UNION WILL BE HARRASED UNTIL THEY RELENT. ALSO THE UNION WANTS THE ONES THAT DON'T WANT TO JOIN THE UNION, THEY CAN FORCE THEM TO PAY THE DUES ANY WAY . PRETTY GOOD DEAL HUH.
